New Modern Concepts is proud to work with Preston McNees on the construction of his new 400 head cattle confinement. We believe it is important to work with young farmers like Preston to keep and grow cattle feeding in the Midwest. 

Preston’s new 100 x 200 monoslope, 400 head steel building is designed for maximum ROI, efficiency and longevity. This facility features four pens and is designed to allow for proper ventilation yet the cattle performance, protection and manure value that confinements allow. Cattle in each pen will have access to two rows of feed bunks supplied by Custom Precast. We selected the Monster bunk design to allow for maximum capacity of the feed ration. Water access is provided by two all-weather Miraco waterers in each pen. Two 14’ scrape aprons will allow the operator to keep the feeding area clean and capture the manure value for increased crop yields. This deep bedded barn will be an asset to Preston for many years to come.
